Research Interests

Dr. Murnane's research within the laboratory has focused on clinical applications of measures of human auditory vestibular physiology. Much of Drs. Murnane and Akin's work over the last decade has focused on ocular and vestibular evoked myogenic potentials. Currently, Dr. Murnane continues to study aging effects of the ocular vestibular evoked myogenic potentials as well as research studying the response characteristics of the video head impulse test and the clinical application of the video head impulse test.
