War-Related Injuries to the Hearing & Balance Systems
The Appalachian Spring Conference has a tradition of presenting internationally-recognized speakers and experts in the fields of audiology, speech-language pathology, physical therapy, hearing science, and neuroscience. The 2018 conference will focus on epidemiology and the effects of war-related injuries on the auditory and vestibular systems, and co-morbid conditions including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

The conference has no registration fee. However all attendees pay a minimal refreshment fee, which allows breakfast, lunch and snacks to be provided to everyone during the meeting. Additionally, attendees and their guests are invited to a traditional Bar-B-Q & Bluegrass reception on the first night of the conference. The reception is a great place for students and professionals to meet and mingle with other professionals from around the country.
